AWARE member input into Medics Academy's Infectious Diseases Placement

Since the inevitable disruption of medical student education during the lockdown period, virtual events such as those offered by Medics Academy have helped fill the gap. On 6th July Medics Academy ran their first Virtual Placement and the theme (appropriately!) was Infectious Diseases

. It was a very successful highly interactive event with input from AWARE. Virtual events like this have many benefits - students from all over the UK (or the world) can attend cost-free, and interaction is is easy and effective even for those who might be more hesitant at large face-to-face events.
